Look What Preston Did this WEEKEND!

Preston went to the mall Saturday morning and waited 2 hours to meet John Parke Wilson! ROLL TIDE ROLL!This is great picture, Preston!
While I was running in Bellbuckle, TN, David's dad took Smith to meet John Parker Wilson. Preston's sweet mommy saw Smith up ahead of her and used her zoom to get his picture!

RC Cola Moon Pie 10 Miler

This past weekend several of my running buddies and me headed to Bellbuckle, TN to run in a very hot and hilly 10 mile race! When you finished this race, they actually serve Moon Pies and RC Cola! YUMMY!
We had a great cheering section! These are my brother's children.

My mom and dad came, too!

Mom and dad came to enjoy the festival. There was fried oreos, funnel cakes, clogging, a parade, a moon pie throwing contest, and lots of shopping. Mom and dad bought an antique telephone table!

Vacation Bible School

One of the reasons I left the beach early is because Patton could not stand the thought of missing VBS this week at our church. We usually go to the beach with my family the week after VBS, but because school got out so late this year, our church moved VBS to this week instead of the week right after school is out. Hopefully next year it will be back to normal. My talented husband made the water tower here in this picture. He is so proud of it!
My favorite part of VBS is the music!

We went to family night tonight to see what the children have learned this week.

Patton is having so much fun that he actually told me that he wish he had not gone to the beach at all this week!

We had a wonderful time! Patton and I headed back to Decatur on Wednesday for a little Vacation Bible School and daddy time! We left Smith at the beach with my mom. He is still there having a blast!

End of the Year Talent Show!

I was so proud of all the third graders on the last day of school. They did a fabulous job doing the "Hoedown Throwdown" in the school talent show.
