Telling Time

We have spent a lot of time this week learning about clocks.

We have named the parts of an analog clock, and we have practiced telling time on an analog clock.

We discussed that the are different ways to say what time it is. For example, 4:15, a quarter past 4, or 15 minutes past 4.

Lastly, we have worked on elapsed time!!

Elapsed time takes a lot of practice. These pictures are of my class working on some elapsed time problems. They are working so hard!

Tonight they have homework on this skill. Be patient, they will get it!

We will continue to practice this skill in class.
