On Tuesday, July 28, I attended a workshop on the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. Last summer, our school was trained on The Seven Habits, so this workshop was to show us how to implement it in our school! It was a very productive day! We are excited about introducing and training our students and parents this year.

Habit 4: Think Win/Win
Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood

Habit 6: Synergize
Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw

Making a little extra money!

Mr. David and I had a huge garage sale at our house with our neighbors and the rest of my family. We did this to make some money so we could remodel our kitchen! All the children were determine to make a little cash, too! They sold lemonade and brownies to our shoppers.

They say that someone else's junk is someone else's treasure!

We got up at 4:30 and started setting up. Our first customer arrived around 6:00!

It was a lot of work, but we had a great day!

Summer Fun!

My parents, the boys, and Dave and I went to spend the night in Florence at the Marriott. We had a great time! We enjoyed chilling out by the pool watching the boys swim.

The Splash Pad and playground were hours of entertainment!!!

It was a fun night away from home! This was our last shin-dig before school starts back!
