Leon Sheffield and Ben Davis give David and I the honor to organize and run the mile for their physical fitness test. David and I work with other River City Runners to provide the children the true racing experiencing to make this long mile more fun!
The boys and girls wear chips on their shoes so when they cross these mats at the finish line, their times are automatically entered into the computer!
It is a big deal! Parents, grandparents, friends, etc come and cheer!!
This year the students even got dri-tech shirts to run in.
