The boys and girls are continuing to add words, definitions, and pictures to their Geometry Vocabulary Books.

Landforms Due Tomorrow

As a class, we went over each landform's definition today. I helped them come up simple definitions and easy examples to remember.

Remember, THIS test is tomorrow! There will be a word bank, but they must know the definition, an example, and be able to recognize a picture of it.

We spent lots of time perfecting our books today. Neatness and organization is part of this grade!

The Greedy Triangle

We read this book today and acted it out with toothpicks (sides) and marshmallow (angles).

We all started out with a triangle at the beginning of the story. We had 3 sides and three angles.

Then, we became shapeshifters and created quadrilaterals, pentagons, hexagons,

heptagons, octagons, nonagons, and decagons!

It was fun (and yummy) activity!!!

Leadership Day

We enjoyed the program this morning about The Seven Habits. Mr. Lacy did a fabulous job with organizing this.

First grade did a precious song about Sharpening the Saw!

Olivia shared about synergizing.

Dr. Nichols and Dr. Payne were both here to support our school today.

Luke shared his DOG book with our visitors after the program. He showed how we are Proactive on daily basis.
