We were so excited that our plants survived Spring Break! We worked on staking them this week. We have also been measuring them each day.

Our Spring Break

This is what we did.....
Smith went to Gatlinburg with his best friend, Turner.
Patton competed in a fencing competition.
Lulu and Jay Jay just chilled out!
Mr. David haven't to work everyday. Mrs. Coon read a book, cleaned out 2 closets, and worked on the race I am directing the weekend, The Steeple Chase 8K!
It was a good week!

Bees

We are learning how important bees are to our flowers. They had to draw a bee and label it's part using their background knowledge. It was cute!

We celebrated Reed's Birthday before Spring Break with cookie cake!!!

Testing is almost done!!

We have onemore day of testing which will be Tuesday. Thanks to the sweet parents who have provided adorable testing incentives/treats last week!

Planting Brassica Seeds

We planted seeds for our plants today! They worked in groups to follow directions on how to plant seeds. They are under the light, so we shall see what happens?

Happy Easter

We spent Friday afternoon celebrating Easter with a yummy snack and egg dying! Thank you to all the parents who helped make this celebration a fun time!!!!

7 Habits Lesson

Today, Mrs. Olinger did a 7 Habits lesson with my kids. She was modeling for a group of teachers from Madison County. They were wonderful, and I think they enjoyed it!!!

Deep into Test Prep

Today, we worked on 4 math content standards (number sense, basic addition and subtraction, 2 & 3 digitsby one digit multiplication, and division). We practiced how to answer an open-ended question. We did 3 together, and 1 independently.
