RC Cola Moon Pie 10 Miler

We traveled to Bell Buckle, Tennessee to run in a 10 mile race.
David, of course, crossed the finish line way before the rest of us!

Next, it was Shawn, my brother!

Then, Lindsey Bowling and I finally made our way to the end on this HOT and HUMID day! I even had a lady ask me if I had ran through a sprinkler. I was soaked!!!

This was a fun day! After the race we walked around and ate some yummy food at the festival. It was a cute, little town to visit!

Basketball Camp

Smith and his cousin, Sam, went to basketball camp at Fort Decatur for 4 days.

Smith won a basketball while his was there.

He also won a year supply of Pepsi Products.

We will definitely do this camp again next year!

Pallettes and Punch

Smith and Patton went downtown to Memi's Pottery for an art class taught by Ricky Higgins.
Thanks to Ricky's instruction, the boys left with beautiful seahorses!!

We Are The Champions!

We were so excited that Smitty's Minor B team, The Philies, won the city championship this season!!! Like father, Like Son!
We had some awesome coaches! Thank you, guys!!

Patton, who hates baseball, was even excited for his daddy and Smith.

Bible School at FBC

The boys and I spent the second week of summer at VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL!!! We all had a blast down on the range!
Dr. Hurt did a great job!

Jennifer and Doug Farris did a fabulous job organizing this amazing event for our church!

Mrs. Barbara, Mrs. Shelley, and Mrs. Cheryl (not pictured) were Smith's teachers.

Our youth did an excellent job leading us in worship rally each day!

VBS is a tiring week, but is well worth it!! It is a great way to kick off a summer!

Last Day of School Party

Kaitlynne's mom and grandmother took charge of our end of the party! They put on a fabulous LUAU for us! We had grass skirts, music, food, and much more!

We had a craft.

We played Bingo.

We had hot dogs, nachos, and fruit kabobs.

We went outside to do a little dancing.

We even got Mr. K to join in for awhile!

He was pretty good!

When we came inside, we found this!!!! SNOWCONES!!!!

Perfect treat for a hot and humid day!

We ended the day with a toast for a wonderful and safe summer!

A perfect ending to a great SCHOOL YEAR!!!!

THIRD GRADE'S GOT TALENT

We definitely had some talent in third grade! I must admit I was a little nervous about this event because we threw it together so fast. However, it turned out to be a wonderful time! I was truly impressed. The lighting was horrible so pictures are so dark! Brylee in the Raindrop skit!

Trevor, Bradley, and Wesley rocked this house with some HIP HOP to the song, "Down." They were awesome!!!!!
