Working Together Is Better

Today we talked about how we are going to work together as a team! We are going to become very familiar with Habit 7: Synergize! We worked hard on this diplay in the hall!

Mrs. Coon's last big thing before school starts tomorrow!

Today we celebrated Patton and Smith's birthdays at Mallard Farms! We had a blast! The children enjoyed the two potbelly pigs!
Smith's favorite part was the kayake.
The children also went out in a canoe.
The children also did some fishing off the pier.
Patton's favorite part was the horse riding.

Their birthday cake for the party.
Here is the first fish caught today! It was HUGE!
Smitty enjoyed playing with the worms more than fishing. YUCK!
Here are the birthday boys striking a pose!

The boys and girls had fun riding the zipline, too!

It was a hot day, but everyone still had so much fun!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PATTON AND SMITH!

Did you check out the wish list on the board? This list will remain up during the first week of school if you are interested in purchasing something for the classroom. Thursday night was so crowded and chaotic, I do not think many of you even saw the list. My room will also be open tomorrow if you want to stop by and look at it! Feel free to come on in even if I am not in there!

Please Sign Up

Did you sign up to volunteer for the classroom store? Do I know how your child is getting home in the afternoons? Did you leave me your daytime phone number and email address?
These forms will still be out on Monday morning.

Meet and Greet

I am so glad I finally got to meet so many of you tonight. It is nice to finally put a face with a name! I appreciate you all taking the time to come. It was a fun evening!

Look at what I got tonight! Aren't they adorable? Thank you, Peighton! I love them!!

I am officially ready for school to start!

Okay, we can start school now because I got my tonails painted today!

Meeting Our Teachers

Tonight Patton went to his classroom at Leon Sheffield. His fourth grade teacher is Miss Bowling. He is so excited about having her this year! Smitty went to Ben Davis to meet his new second grade teacher. Her name is Mrs. O'hara and he already loves her to death. David and I are really excited about having her because she is a family friend!
They are both looking forward to Monday morning!
