In June, we were sad to say goodbye to a member of our family, Jack! Jack was a pug and was part of our family for 12 years. He died of old age in his sleep.
Patton worked very hard on Jack's grave in our backyard.
I went and had my toes painted in memory of Jack.
Friends and neighbors brought flowers for Jack's grave.
We buried him right outside our kitchen window.
Patton worked really hard on his tombstone.
We planted some monkey grass behind his tombstone because Jack loved to sit in the monkey grass when he was outside. I think it kept his tummy cool!
He was a good dog and is truly missed at the Coon house.
