Friendly Letters








Today we discussed the parts of a friendly letter. The children worked in groups to complete an activity. With this activity the children had to identify the parts, label them, and then answer questions about the part. They did very well with this. I was very impressed with how they worked together.

On Wednesday, they will be asked to label the parts of a friendly letter on their language test (There will be a word bank.). While I am talking about the test, I will mention that the tests will cover verbs as well. Please review all work that comes home on verbs (action verbs, state-of-being verbs, helping verbs, verb phrases) over the next couple of days. A practice sheet we completed together today came home in your child's BEE Book.
