On Monday, we participated in our FIRST violin lesson. Our teacher is Mr. Frank! He is so wonderful, and we are so glad he continues to come to Julian Harris year after year! He is great with the kids! 
The boys and girls spent their first lesson learning the history behind the violin, learning it's parts, and listening to Mr. Frank play his violin.
For the first couple of lessons, the boys and girls will be using a box violin. They will learn how to handle the box violin before receiving a real violin. Yes, each child will have a real violin to use during their lessons.
