We started out our study on bees by drawing and labeling a picture of bee. The trick was they had nothing to look at or go by. They had to show me what they "think" they knew. It was hilarious. They were trying to cheat so bad. However, overall they did really well.
Next Friday, the boys and girls will have a test on the parts of a bee and the parts of a flower. Both of these are in their SCIENCE notebooks. There will be a word bank.
After learning some facts about bees, we did a little art project to decorate the halls.
Before I would hang it on the wall, they had to give me a fcct about a BEE.
