We are focusing on the
oo spelling this week. We are learning how this sound spelling has two sounds like in
goo and
foot.
This is our
Concept/Question board for this unit. We put up questions about money on our board today. I am encouraging each child to bring in something that has to do with money(magazine ads, drawings, etc.) to add to the concept side of our board. They have several weeks to do this. They will receive 4 credits for each item.
These are the cursive letters we will be learning this week: lowercase g and lowercase q.
Today we looked up the definitions to this week's vocabulary words. The definitions should be in your child's BEE book behind the reading tab.
Our story this week is "It's A Deal!" We will have a test on this story on Friday. Please reread nightly.
