While I met with my reading group, the children work independently in workshop. This group is working on social studies. They are researching the three branches of government.
This group is working on this week's spelling words. They are to write each spelling word in a sentence. This is a little tricky this week because we are dealing with homophones. For example: waist/waste.
This is the comprehension station. They are reading chapters 5 and 6 in
The Candy Corn Contest.
Also this week, the children will visit the math station to play with geo boards or play games (UNO, Connect Four, Dominoes, etc.)
